This miniature/toy sewing machine was made by F. W. Müller. It's a No. 748, type S, as catalogued by Manfred and Rita Koym in 'Toy Sewing Machines and the "Kerngehaeuse"', also similarly described as a red model by Glenda Thomas, plate 2-607. This model was manufactured between 1965 and 1969. The style of the word "Regina" was used after 1965. The stitch plate says "Berlin Made in Germany US - Zone". It has a wooden base with a domed/bentwood lid in light wood and is battery run, although it has a hand crank. The switch says AUS/EIN (on/off), no foot control needed. The upper body is made of cast zinc, the rear of the body is made of sheet steel. Oscillating hook. It has Regina on the arm of the machine and an M for Müller on the pillar.
